The application process for Romanian government scholarships for citizens of Kyrgyzstan is open for the 2026-2027 academic year, as reported by representatives of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This program covers studies at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels in various fields, excluding medicine.
Scholarship recipients will benefit from free education, as well as accommodation in dormitories and monthly stipends. For those who do not speak Romanian, a free preparatory year is provided.
The main requirement for candidates is high academic performance, which implies an average grade of no less than "4" or "7" in the Romanian system.
Applications are accepted exclusively in electronic format until March 31 of the current year.
