At the Children's Creativity House in Kara-Balta, the final of the Science and Technology Week in the region took place.

The event gathered many schoolchildren passionate about construction, robotics, and scientific research.

From February 23 to 27, exhibitions and competitions were held in educational institutions in the district, where students presented their own models and research projects. The best works were selected for the final, which took place at the Children's Creativity House, where they were evaluated by a jury that included the leading specialist of the district education department Guliza Junushbaeva and educators from the institution.

Students from nine schools in Kara-Balta participated in the competition, as well as children from Fedorovskaya, Sosnovskaya, Sary-Bulak, and Suusamyr schools.

The chair of the jury, Guliza Junushbaeva, opened the event, wishing all participants good luck and noting that the winners would have the opportunity to represent the Jayil District at the regional level.

The exhibition was diverse and impressed even experienced teachers. For example, a 7th-grade student from school No. 10, Danil Ovsyannikov, presented a moving model of a beet harvester made from cardboard.

Fifth graders from Fedorovskaya school demonstrated a project of a three-story Children's Creativity House "Kelechek," designed in the shape of a yurt, which, in their opinion, could appear in their village.

Also attracting interest was the project by Dmitry Rutskiy from school No. 9 — a robot assistant for medical professionals.

Students from Kara-Balta school No. 4 presented several innovative projects, including stand models and moving models in the field of robotics.

Young inventors from Suusamyr school named after Karabekov demonstrated machines for making kumys, moving cars, vacuum cleaners, and fans.

Sary-Bulak school presented a model of an excavator.

In addition, students showcased other developments, including an underwater robot for cleaning the bottom of Lake Issyk-Kul, ecological machines for sorting waste, devices for generating energy from wind, robots for sports training, and models of "smart" homes.

As a result of the competition, the jury announced the winners in several nominations.

In the "Stand Model" category, the first place in the junior group was taken by school No. 10, and in the senior group — by school No. 4. Second places were awarded to Fedorovskaya school and school No. 9, while third places went to school No. 12 (junior group) and school No. 11 (senior group).

In the "Robotics" category, the winners were students from school No. 9 (junior group) and school No. 4 (senior group). Second places in both groups were taken by students from school No. 6, and third places went to representatives of schools No. 2 and No. 4.

In the "Latest Technology" category, the first place in the junior group went to students from Suusamyr school named after Karabekov, and in the senior group — to school No. 1 of Kara-Balta. Second places were awarded to Suusamyr school named after Karabekov (junior group) and the school from the village of Sary-Bulak (senior group).

In the "Energy-Saving Technology" nomination, the first place in the junior group was taken by a student from school No. 8 of Kara-Balta, and in the senior group — by students from the school in the village of Sosnovka. The second place in the junior group also went to students from Sosnovka.

For active participation, students from schools No. 11, No. 1 of Kara-Balta, Suusamyr school named after Turkmen, and Fedorovskaya school were awarded.

The director of the Children's Creativity House, Gulnara Tulenova, emphasized that the main value of Science and Technology Week is not only the diplomas and prizes but also the interest shown by schoolchildren in science and technology. Their ideas, embodied in models and prototypes, can become the foundation for future inventions.
