In Bishkek, a schoolboy was frightened by a stationery knife brought by a classmate to sharpen pencils.
According to her, on February 17, one of the 5th-grade students decided to bring a utility knife to school to sharpen pencils. Upon seeing this object, his classmates began to examine it and play with it, which ultimately led to one of the children getting scared.
The Juvenile Affairs Inspection of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department learned about the incident, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated. The results of the investigation became the basis for transferring the materials to the Juvenile Affairs Department, and then to the district Commission for Child Affairs for further consideration.
"Appropriate measures will also be taken regarding the parents of the boy who brought the utility knife," noted Imanbaeva.
