This information was provided by Astra Asanalieva, head of the educational and methodological office of the Kochkor district education department, in an interview with a Turmush correspondent.
According to Asanalieva, 578 schoolchildren participated in the district stage of the Olympiad. Of these, 21 students who took 1st and 2nd places earned the opportunity to participate in the regional stage. In this stage, 20 schoolchildren from the Kochkor district participated, and 11 of them became prize winners.
Among the prize winners, 3 students took first place, 4 took second, and 4 took third. In the overall team standings, the Kochkor district team took first place in the Naryn region, returning with a victory.
