During a meeting of the committee on science, education, innovative development, and information technologies, culture, sports, and youth affairs of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova reported that the total number of visits to the website kitep.edu.kg has reached 19.8 million.
As she noted, the resource attracts about 172,000 users daily on average. The site offers 243 electronic textbooks developed for an educational program covering 11-12 years. Of this number, 164 textbooks are available in Kyrgyz, while 67 are in Russian.
“In addition to the 12-year program, 79 textbooks have been introduced, including methodological guides for teachers, workbooks, and additional materials for students,” added Jusupbekova.
