At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Suyun Omurzakov expressed the opinion that regional schools need funding to prepare students for the Unified National Testing (ORT). He noted that students from remote areas are sent to the capital for studies, as teachers themselves advise them to do so.

According to Omurzakov, preparation is carried out in private educational centers, which is where the funds are spent. The deputy emphasized that if funding is directed directly to the schools, the need to travel to Bishkek for preparation would be eliminated.
