Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Sovetbek Rustambek uulu, raised a number of social and infrastructure issues in the Nookat and Uzgen districts of the Osh region during a parliamentary session on February 25.

According to the deputy, 11 municipal kindergartens were opened in the Nookat district in 2024–2025, but local budgets have not yet received the necessary funds. As a result, 164 employees have been left without salaries for January and have begun to file complaints.

He also noted that a similar situation with payments is observed in the villages of the Bash-Döbön rural administration in the Uzgen district, where employees are also waiting for their salaries.

The deputy raised the issue of problems in one of the areas of the Zulpuy rural administration, which recently received the status of a village. There are 1,120 residents and 160 houses, but important social facilities such as a kindergarten, school, health post, and sports hall are lacking.

In addition, there is a serious problem with the provision of drinking water in the village. The rural administration has developed a project for the construction of a clean water line costing 13 million 500 thousand soms. The deputy called for the funding of this project to be included in the republican budget.
