The board meeting took place on February 18 and was dedicated to the socio-economic development of the Chui region for 2026.
In her report, Kyshtobaeva presented the results of the social block of the region for 2025.
According to her, to increase the coverage of preschool education, 36 additional groups were opened in 27 kindergartens, allowing 955 children to be included.
During the pilot testing of the voucher mechanism, documents for 47 children were checked, and at the moment, vouchers have already been issued to 41 children.
Additionally, the deputy reported that there are 299 kindergartens in the Chui region, serving 35,667 children and employing 1,398 educators.
As part of the "Altyn Kazyq" program for the implementation of 12-year education by 2025, 3,609 laptops were provided to teachers, and an electronic diary was fully implemented. The procurement of textbooks was also organized, and new books were provided for the first, second, fifth, and seventh grades.
The quality of school education in the region was 41%, which is 0.7% higher than in the 2023-2024 academic year, noted Kyshtobaeva.
