This information was confirmed by Nursultan Kasymbaev, the responsible secretary of the educational and methodological office of the city’s education department.
He noted that 593 students from various educational institutions in the city participated in the Olympiad.
“At the second (city) stage of the republican subject Olympiad in Manas, 593 participants from public and private educational institutions gathered,” Kasymbaev reported.
The commission, after reviewing the works, identified winners in each subject and direction. In total, 54 schoolchildren took prize places — first, second, and third. According to the rules of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, 36 students who took first and second places received the right to participate in the next stage,” he added.
The Olympiad covered 10 subjects in 17 directions, including:
