According to available information, several directors who had worked in their positions for more than five years were dismissed. As a result of a government competition, new leaders were appointed only for some vacancies, while other kindergartens still do not have directors.
Currently, the following institutions remain without leadership:
kindergartens "Nur-El" (village of Ak-Chiy) and "Nur-Al" (village of Zhanı-Tilek, rural area of Kara-Burgon);
"Tereke-Bereke" (village of Terek), "Aidos" (village of Ugut), "Aizura" and "Zhas balaty" (village of Bayetov, rural area of Bayetov);
as well as "Böböktay" (village of Zhanı-Talap, rural area of Togolok-Moldo).
The duties of the directors are temporarily being fulfilled by the educators of these kindergartens.
Dinaра Ysamanbetova, deputy head of the district education department, noted that low salaries are the main reason why no one wants to take these positions.
"The ministry regularly holds competitions for vacant director positions, but due to low salaries, there are no applicants. Currently, there are no leaders in seven kindergartens. Among them, the directors of 'Aizura' and 'Zhas balaty' in the village of Bayetov left their posts voluntarily 2-3 months ago," she said.
The other five directors were dismissed because they had worked for more than five years. New directors have not been appointed in these institutions for over a year, and the reason is the low salary, which deters potential candidates," D. Ysamanbetova added.
Some former kindergarten directors also express dissatisfaction. They note that in recent years, the salaries of teachers and educators have been slightly increased, while the salaries of kindergarten directors have remained at the same level, despite the fact that the workload has not changed. Currently, their incomes range from 16,000 to 20,000 soms per month.
