In Kyrgyzstan, new educational complexes for 7th grades are being adapted
Recently, the third meeting of the Supervisory Board of the project "Sector Development Project: Reforming School Education" took place at the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the ministry itself.
The event was attended by Deputy Ministers of Education: Nadir Jusupbekov, Lira Samykbaeva, and Albert Makmetkulov, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, heads of departments and subordinate organizations, as well as scientists and teachers from general education schools.
The main focus of the meeting was on important aspects of project implementation. Participants heard a report on the current status of the project policy matrix for the second tranche, presented by the educational policy coordinator.
During the discussion, attention was drawn to the results of implementing the main components of the project. In particular, achievements were presented in the following areas:
adaptation of educational and methodological complexes for the subjects "Mathematics" and "Natural Sciences" for the 7th grade, as well as recommendations for their implementation;
promotion of the harmonization of the pedagogical education system with modern school requirements, including the introduction of technologies and updating program standards;
analysis of the state of specialized training in senior classes.
As a result of the discussions, the Supervisory Board developed a number of decisions and recommendations aimed at more effectively advancing reforms in the field of school education.
It is worth noting that the project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education with financial support from the Asian Development Bank and is focused on achieving long-term strategic goals in the development of the country's educational system.
