This decision was made in the context of reforming the executive bodies dealing with the educational sector.
As a result of the renaming, 13 institutions and units that were previously under the Ministry of Education and Science received new names:
1) The Department of Quality Education Development is now called the Department of Quality Education Development under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2) The Center for Independent Certification and Validation has also been renamed to the Center for Independent Certification and Validation under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
3) The Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation now operates as the Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
4) The institution "Kyrgyz Academy of Education" is now called "Kyrgyz Academy of Education under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic";
5) The institution "Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Workers" has also changed its name to "Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Workers under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic";
6) The Health Center "Sanat" has become the Health Center "Sanat" under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
7) The state institution "Publishing House 'Okuu Kitebi'" has been renamed to "Publishing House 'Okuu Kitebi' under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
8) The institution "Media Center 'Kut Bilim'" is now called "Media Center 'Kut Bilim' under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
9) The Centralized Accounting Office has been renamed to the Centralized Accounting Office under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
10) The Republican Scientific and Methodological Center has also become the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
11) The Republican Methodological Center for Physical Education, Sports, and Culture has also been renamed and is now called the same, but under the Ministry of Education;
12) The institution "Sanatorium-Prophylactic 'Barchyn'" has received a new name — "Sanatorium-Prophylactic 'Barchyn' under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic;
13) Finally, the Republican Children's Engineering and Technical Academy "Altyn Tuyun" has been renamed to the National Children's Engineering and Technical Academy "Altyn Tuyun".
In addition, the resolution provides for amendments to the existing regulatory documents of the government concerning the salaries of workers in the field of education and culture.
The Ministry of Education has been tasked with developing and approving new charters for the renamed institutions, as well as conducting their state re-registration in accordance with the new resolution.
Furthermore, the Cabinet's resolution "On the State Institution 'Center for Digital Education' under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic," dated September 7, 2023, has been canceled.
This resolution will come into effect on February 6, 2026.
