President Sadyr Japarov issued a decree that amends the previous resolution from August 28, 2025, number 250, regarding the state monopoly on the training of medical specialists.
According to the decree signed on February 2, 2026, the changes are aimed at improving the system of training medical and pharmaceutical personnel, as well as expanding international cooperation in the field of education, while adhering to state quality standards and national security requirements.
The document introduces a new provision allowing accredited private medical higher educational institutions to enter into international agreements with universities in the USA. These agreements will focus on the joint implementation of educational programs and projects in the field of medical and pharmaceutical education.
The decree comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
