According to the department, the aim of these events is to promote military-patriotic education among youth and to popularize military education and service.
Ninth-grade graduates have the opportunity to enroll in the Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum, while graduates of schools and colleges can apply to the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign military educational institutions.
The Ministry also noted that cadets receive free education and full state support, and graduates are guaranteed employment.
