At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, a meeting of the board of trustees took place, attended by Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State National Security Committee.

Opening the meeting, Kamchybek Tashiev, who is the chairman of the university's board of trustees, emphasized the importance of summarizing the results of KRSU's work for 2025 and determining key areas for development in 2026.

University Rector Sergey Volkov presented the main achievements in the fields of education, science, and infrastructure, as well as shared future plans, including campus development, the opening of new branches, and support for student startups. An important element was the establishment of the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training.

During the meeting, existing strategic partnerships of the university were confirmed and new ones were expanded.

A memorandum of cooperation was also signed with the State Corporation "Rosatom," which envisages the implementation of joint educational and engineering projects, including a project office for hydropower. In addition, agreements were concluded with PJSC "Kirov Plant" and other specialized educational institutions within the framework of the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training.

One of the important decisions was the approval of roadmaps for cooperation with the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan." Furthermore, a memorandum was signed with Wildberries aimed at developing digital and entrepreneurial skills among students.

The decisions made marked the transition of KRSU to a long-term development model that will focus on the integration of education, science, and the real sector of the economy, as well as on strengthening the university's status as one of the leading educational institutions in the region.
