Courses for professional development are being organized for short-term kindergarten educators.
According to information from the ministry's press service, representatives from various organizations participated in the event, including the Department of Education of Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, as well as the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers. Among the participants were also educators from short-term kindergartens and methodologists from district education departments.
At the round table, a project for a distance learning course was presented, which takes into account changes in legislation and regulatory acts in the field of preschool education. A preliminary version of the online course "Balalyk," designed for 10 days of training on the RIPPPR platform, was also introduced.
The main goal of the discussion was to gather feedback from key participants in the process. Attendees noted the importance of professional development not only for educators of short-term kindergartens but also for other forms of preschool education.
One of the features of the new program will be the presence of methodological recommendations aimed at developing key competencies of educators in short-term community kindergartens. These recommendations will be based on materials from the "Strengthening the Foundations of Learning" project, including differentiated instruction, the basics of STEM education, and the "Balalyk" program.
Practicing educators, methodologists, and researchers from the Kyrgyz Academy of Education proposed specific recommendations and ideas during the round table.
The developed course will undergo further discussion with experts and will subsequently be transferred to the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Educational Workers for implementation in a distance format on the institute's platform.
