Teachers in Kyrgyzstan are set to be trained in working with artificial intelligence

In Kyrgyzstan, a training program for teachers aimed at working with artificial intelligence is planned to be implemented. This became known after the meeting of the Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, with the founder of Cayu AI, Zamir Akimbekov, which took place on January 29.

The Ministry of Education reported that the meeting discussed the prospects of integrating AI technologies into the educational process. Kendirbaeva emphasized the need for methodological support for educators in using artificial intelligence and highlighted the importance of early development of students' skills in choosing their future professions. It was also noted that professional lyceums are actively developing in the country.

Zamir Akimbekov noted that artificial intelligence is progressing rapidly and is already having a significant impact on the labor market. In the context of the automation of certain professions, there may be an increased interest in specialties related to manual labor, such as plumbers and mechanics, as well as other technical professions in the future.

Additionally, a Day of Artificial Intelligence is planned in Kyrgyz schools, during which computer science lessons will be dedicated to new directions in AI development, its potential, and its role in the educational process.

The meeting also discussed the possibilities of organizing training events for teachers and students aimed at the correct and effective use of artificial intelligence in the educational process and self-development.

Zamir Akimbekov holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and currently works in the USA, where he focuses on business optimization using artificial intelligence. His biography also includes achievements in international chemistry Olympiads, and he completed his studies at universities in Turkey and the USA.
