In the Leilek district, in the village of Eski-Oochu, there is a pressing need for a new educational institution. As reported by deputy Kamila Talieva, the school was previously built based on an ashar, but with the increase in the number of children, it is no longer able to meet the needs, which she emphasized during the parliamentary session while addressing Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev.

During the session, the draft law "On the Ratification of the Credit Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Development Fund for the project 'Construction of Public Schools' Phase-2," signed on October 9, 2025, in Bishkek, was discussed.

Talieva proposed to include the construction of a school in her village in the title list.

Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu reminded the participants of the session about the need to ask questions only regarding the draft law under consideration. He warned that if the questions did not correspond to the topic, the microphone would be turned off.

“We will separately invite Nurdana myrza to answer questions. There is no need to use the microphone for off-topic questions; we must cultivate a culture of discussion that focuses solely on the essence of the draft law,” the speaker noted.

Deputy Kunduzbek Suimanov added that the parliament can only approve or reject the draft law, and for other issues, deputies can directly approach the minister.

Erulan Kokulov, another deputy, agreed with the speaker's opinion but pointed out that the designated days for questions to the minister are not always convenient, and ministers sometimes do not meet with deputies on other days. “We represent the interests of the people and have the right to ask questions,” he concluded.

As a result, the parliament supported the draft law.
