A meeting dedicated to the issues of teacher training and their professional growth took place in Bishkek. This information was provided by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, participants discussed key points regarding the training of pedagogical staff, their qualification enhancement, as well as the implementation of new state standards and methodological support.
In addition, attention was given to attracting international experts and trainers, state support for students in pedagogical specialties, and the training of teachers in STEM fields in English.
Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, noted that teachers play a key role in the education system and emphasized that the training and development of educators should be a priority of state policy. He also pointed out the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders in this area.
Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva added that successful training of pedagogical staff requires integration into the international educational space. She emphasized that pedagogical universities should be the main initiators of changes in the teacher training system.
