In Uzgen, the land plots that belonged to the Salizhan Sharipov School and were previously transferred to private hands have been returned to the balance of the educational institution. This was reported by the city mayor Eldos Taev.

According to the mayor, the public had long expressed concern about the illegal use of these lands. "Some plots within the school's territory were transferred to private hands in violation of the law, which led to the establishment of trading points. This posed a threat to the safety of students and disrupted the conditions for learning. As a result, a prosecutor's inspection revealed a number of violations, and a corresponding demand was sent. Based on this, the city hall, together with the department for managing municipal property, carried out work to clear the territory of illegally established objects," he noted.

Eldos Taev also reported that the land plots related to the school are now back under the control of the educational institution. "The total area of the returned plots is 289 square meters, where 9 trading points were previously located. After consultations with experts, it is possible that these areas will be used for storage needs or classrooms," he added.

In addition, the mayor noted that this year a complete inspection of the lands belonging to schools and kindergartens in the city is planned, with the aim of reclaiming plots that were transferred to private ownership.

The area of the school now totals 1 hectare and 15 ares, having increased by 289 square meters.
