The deputy inquired about how the training of IT specialists is going in the regions

At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Science, Education, and Information Technologies, Deputy Rustambek Sovetbek uulu expressed concern about educational opportunities for youth in the regions interested in obtaining IT education. He emphasized that many students face difficulties related to the need to relocate to Bishkek for studies, which incurs additional financial costs for housing and education.
In response to his questions, the director of the "High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic," Azis Abakirov, reported that a large American company providing dispatch services operates in the Aravan district and the city of Osh. This organization not only trains local young people but also offers them employment, although knowledge of English is required for work.
Abakirov added that the company is engaged in finding cargo for American trucks and operates around the clock, creating over 100 jobs both in Bishkek and Osh. He also mentioned the training program at the "Technopark" and "Oloolo House," where short-term IT courses are offered. Various academies are available in the regions that conduct one-year training and issue certificates upon completion of the course.
