According to him, there are 120 educational institutions operating in Bishkek, which can accommodate only 104,117 students, while the actual number of students is 261,107.
He also provided statistics by districts of the capital:
- Sverdlovsky District — 35 schools with a design capacity of 29,732 places and 66,747 students;
- First May District — 27 schools, design capacity of 20,962 places, 58,085 students;
- Leninsky District — 36 schools, design capacity of 30,402 places, 91,487 students;
- October District — 22 schools, design capacity of 23,021 places, 44,788 students.
