At the parliamentary meeting on January 21, Deputy Tabyldy Muratbekov (district No. 27) expressed the idea of the need to increase the number of men in the teaching staff.

He noted that he received a proposal suggesting that the lack of men among educators could be one of the reasons for the low level of discipline in schools. "Perhaps we should pay attention to this issue. Of course, we cannot divide teachers by gender, but having more men can really influence the quality of the educational process and upbringing," he added.

Muratbekov also reminded that a similar initiative had already been discussed earlier at the Agency for Youth Affairs. In his opinion, there is a lag in youth policy among the CIS countries. The deputy believes that the agency should be combined with educational and student policy for a more comprehensive approach to working with youth.
