The Academy of Sciences will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Academician Altai Borubaev.
The main focus of this outstanding scientist's work is the promotion of science and education in Kyrgyzstan.
Altai Borubaev is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and a recipient of the Commonwealth of Independent States "Stars of the Commonwealth" intergovernmental award. He has been awarded the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology twice, and he holds the title of Honored Worker of Science. His awards include the Order of "Manas" III degree and the Order of "Commonwealth" of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS. He currently serves as the director of the Institute of Mathematics at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Among his achievements are the authorship of 16 scientific monographs and books, as well as over 130 scientific articles published in 15 countries. Borubaev has also presented scientific reports in 39 countries around the world, and under his leadership, more than 20 international scientific congresses and conferences have been held in the country.
He is the president of the Union of Scientists of Kyrgyzstan, a member of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the head of the Kyrgyz Mathematical Society. In addition, Borubaev participates in the editorial boards of several international scientific journals in the field of mathematics.
