The event was attended by the Minister of Natural Resources Akyl Toktobaev and the Mayor of Osh, Janar Akayev.
The project includes a preliminary plan for greening and restoring the environment in the area of the Khakhlov Cemetery. In this area, the municipal enterprise "Greening Combine" planted 1,300 seedlings that were grown in a local nursery.
During the campaign, six different species of trees were planted, including birch, aronia, chestnut, red maple, and ash.
The director of the greening combine of the city of Osh, Azamat Sovetbek uulu, emphasized that the implementation of this project will help improve the ecological situation and expand green zones in the city.
