Temporary changes in the weather conditions of Kyrgyzstan are expected in the coming days: at the beginning of the week, when the temperature was warm and rainy, a cooling period will begin with precipitation in the form of snow and nighttime frosts.
According to data from the weather service Ventusky, temperature changes in Kyrgyzstan will be associated with the transition from a cyclone to an anticyclone. As of today, March 9, warm air from the south is still dominating the country — in Bishkek, the temperature has reached +13°C. However, a cold front is moving towards the region from the west, clearly marked on the maps as a blue line with triangles. By March 10, the temperature will drop to 0°C, and by the 11th-12th, Arctic air is expected to envelop the region, lowering the temperature to −6°C and below. At the same time, a powerful anticyclone will approach Kyrgyzstan from the north, blocking the influx of warm air and maintaining cold masses over the country.
