The specialists of Kyrgyzhydromet reported that the air pollution level in Bishkek significantly exceeds permissible values.
Monitoring conducted from February 20 to 26 revealed that the average daily concentration of harmful substances in the atmosphere was twice as high as the maximum allowable standards.
It should be noted that the main sources of pollution are emissions from vehicles, heating systems in the private sector, as well as unfavorable weather conditions.
