A wounded hawk has been admitted to the rehabilitation center in Karakol.
According to information from the foundation's staff, there are reasons to believe that this predator was previously kept in captivity under unsuitable conditions. The bird had improperly secured anklets on its legs, which led to injuries.
The hawk is currently in a state of disorientation but is gradually starting to recover. Specialists at the center are working on its rehabilitation.
Once the bird fully recovers, it is planned to be returned to its natural habitat.
