The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan reminds citizens about the opportunity to report cases of violations of environmental legislation by calling the hotline at 108.
The agency noted that burning waste and using vehicles that emit excessive amounts of exhaust gases are violations that cause serious harm to the environment. Citizens are urged to report cases related to the burning of toxic materials, such as sewing waste, tires, as well as vehicles that emit thick smoke, by calling 108.
Why it is important to provide information:
- Pollutants degrade air quality;
- Smog negatively affects public health;
- Long-term harm is caused to the ecosystem.
Capture the incident in a photo or video. Call 108. Provide details of the situation (address, vehicle number, etc.). The hotline operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
