On February 12, the final meeting of the Bishkek city hall board took place, dedicated to summarizing the socio-economic development results for 2025 and setting tasks for 2026. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
During the discussions, plans were also announced for the creation of modern irrigation networks, which will ensure the full growth of new plants. Walking areas will be organized along the Bishkek-Chui Canal and the Ala-Archa River.
In addition to this, the plans include:
- the establishment of a nursery on an additional 48 hectares;
- the construction of 5 modern greenhouses with a total area of 9,600 square meters;
- the purchase of 50,000 saplings;
- the laying of 21 kilometers of irrigation pipelines and the installation of more than 5 kilometers of new irrigation networks;
- the continuation of work on cleaning the riverbeds of the Alamudun and Ala-Archa rivers.
