At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Toktobubu Ashymbaeva noted that people living near sewing workshops use leftover pieces of fabric as fuel and burn them.
She emphasized that these waste materials, with their bright colors, contribute to serious atmospheric pollution when burned.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet, Daniyar Amangeldiev, also commented on this issue, pointing out the harmfulness of such waste usage for heating. He reported that the Ministry of Ecology conducts necessary inspections and has modern equipment. "We use drones to monitor baths and heating systems in homes, identifying violations and imposing fines. In addition, we have a waste recycling plant that deals with their secondary use," he added.
