According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, this event was organized to develop comprehensive measures and make decisions regarding the construction, modernization, and reconstruction of outdated treatment facilities.
From November to December 2025, an interagency working group conducted inspections of wastewater treatment facilities in 32 cities across the country.
During the inspections, the technical condition of the facilities, the degree of wear of the equipment, and compliance with environmental standards were assessed, as well as discussions on modernization and expansion of production capacities.
The Department of Environmental Monitoring of the Ministry evaluated the effectiveness of wastewater treatment at municipal treatment facilities.
