The Environmental Supervision Service identified unauthorized garbage dumps in the Sokuluk and Jayil districts.
According to the agency's information, such dumps were found in the village of Kun-Tuu in the Sokuluk district and in the village of Sary-Koo, located in the Jayil district.
The violators were held accountable and fined a total of 30,000 soms. The fines were imposed in accordance with Articles 115 (Disposal, storage, burning of waste in unauthorized places) and 434 (Violation of the procedure for executing decisions, orders, and directives of authorized bodies) of the Code of Offenses.
The Ecological and Technical Supervision Service of the Chui region reported that in 2026, there are plans to strengthen control over illegal waste disposal in the region.
