In the social networks of Kyrgyzstan, a video is actively spreading, which captures a large number of fry along the coast of Balakchy on Lake Issyk-Kul.

The author of this video noted that such a phenomenon has not been observed in this area for 40–50 years. He added that fry can be seen not only on one of the beaches of Balakchy but throughout the lake.

An eyewitness expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov for introducing a moratorium on fishing in Issyk-Kul, emphasizing that this measure could have contributed to the increase in the fish population.
