Despite the expected warming, negative temperatures are still being recorded in some regions. This is due to the influx of cold continental air, as well as temperature inversion phenomena and nighttime radiative cooling. This information was provided by specialists from Kyrgyzhydromet in an interview with AKIpress.

According to meteorologists, the inversion hinders the warming of the lower layers of the atmosphere, especially in the morning. "No precipitation is forecasted in the coming days, as atmospheric conditions remain stable," they added.

Currently, the territory of Kyrgyzstan continues to be influenced by the periphery of an anticyclone, the center of which is located in Kazakhstan. This anticyclone is characterized by a stable and slow-moving air mass.

Meteorologists also noted that the regular formation of fog is associated with inversion conditions, high atmospheric pressure, and light winds. "Under such conditions, fog will be observed almost daily and will remain until the anticyclone weakens or shifts," they added.

Recall that on January 7, experts predicted that no precipitation is expected in Kyrgyzstan over the week, and warming is also forecasted in the coming days.
