The GTS warned about fakes regarding the sale of goods from customs warehouses.
According to the SCS, a video has appeared on social media in which it is claimed that the service is selling goods. Representatives of the agency emphasized that this message is fake.
The customs service noted that it does not engage in the sale of goods to either individuals or legal entities from temporary warehouses or other facilities in its infrastructure.
Furthermore, the SCS added that the video was created using artificial intelligence technologies and has no relation to their activities.
Fake documents are also circulating on the internet, formatted to look like official papers, mentioning "unreleased amounts," "customs duties," and "processing through a customs broker." The agency emphasized that such documents are not used in their work and are legally invalid.
The SCS believes that such materials are aimed at misleading citizens for the purpose of obtaining illegal benefits.
The service urges citizens to remain vigilant, not to trust such messages, and to avoid interacting with suspicious channels and groups in messengers. Official information about the activities of customs authorities is published exclusively on their official resources.
