A resident of the Lenin district approached the police chief Azamat Toktonaliev with a complaint that "dealers" had been spotted in the protected area on Leo Tolstoy Street.
The press service also reported that lectures are being held in educational institutions, including schools and universities, for students, pupils, teachers, and parents, explaining the consequences of drug use as well as the criminal liability for drug offenses.
In Bishkek, an inspection of more than 60 pharmacies was carried out, during which owners and pharmacists were reminded of the criminal liability for the illegal sale of medications.
