At a meeting with residents of the Sverdlovsk district on March 26, the head of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, Azamat Toktonaliev, shared information about current measures aimed at maintaining public order and preventing crime, as well as educating the youth.

He emphasized that active participation of citizens in these processes is of great importance.

Toktonaliev also noted that starting in 2024, at the direction of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, the work of the police during nighttime will be intensified.

According to him, special patrols are being organized in the districts of the city, which leads to a noticeable decrease in crime in public places. “You will be able to observe this: in recreational areas, near cafes and clubs, stationary posts have been established to ensure safety until early morning. Additionally, on holidays and weekends, extra posts will be set up on the main streets of the city,” he added.
