In New York, a plane collided with a car (photos and video)
As a result of the incident, 60 people were injured, leading to a temporary suspension of all flights at the airport.
LaGuardia is one of the busiest airports in the U.S. in terms of passenger numbers. This airport is also known for the 2009 incident when a plane departing from it collided with a flock of birds, resulting in both engines failing. Pilot Chesley Sullenberger was able to successfully land the plane on the water, and no passengers or crew members were harmed. This case became known as the "Miracle on the Hudson."
