According to eyewitness accounts, the driver of the "Toyota Avalon," in an attempt to swerve around a pedestrian who suddenly appeared in front of him, struck a road barrier, which led to the car overturning.
The press service of the Traffic Safety Department (UOBDD) of the Chui Region Department of Internal Affairs provided the following information:
“On March 21 at approximately 23:50, the driver, identified as Zh.B.S., born in 2006, was operating a 'Toyota Avalon' traveling east on Frunze Street in the village of Novopavlovka. At the intersection with Border Street, he lost control, which resulted in hitting an obstacle, after which the car overturned. As a result of the incident, Zh.B.S. sustained a head injury and was hospitalized at the National Hospital.”
