The General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan has reported the initiation of a criminal case against several employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to information from the prosecutor's office, a number of GKNB employees and their accomplices systematically embezzled funds and property rights that were supposed to be transferred to the state. These actions were carried out under the pretext of obtaining funds from entrepreneurs and subjects of criminal cases, which allowed them to enrich themselves illegally.
The military prosecutor's office of the republic has initiated a criminal case under the article "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic in connection with these facts.
