During the investigation, it was established that in 2022, employees of the Kara-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs intentionally distorted data to conceal details of a traffic accident.
On March 11, a preliminary investigation began, which revealed that on June 21, 2022, in the Kara-Suu district, a child born in 2013 died as a result of the accident.
On March 12, the parents of the deceased and other witnesses of the incident were interviewed, confirming that the teenager was hit by a car.
The next day, on March 13, a criminal case was initiated under part 2 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the falsification of evidence.
In connection with this case, investigator T. S. from the investigative service of the Aravan District Department of Internal Affairs and the head of the road safety department of the Alai District Department of Internal Affairs, police major U. M., were detained. The court ruled to keep them in custody for two months.
At the moment, investigator T. S. is receiving treatment in a hospital under guard due to health issues.
