The special operation "Den" took place on March 4, when in Bishkek, officers of the Drug Control Service detained 34-year-old R.A.A., who was found in possession of hashish.
During the investigation, they tracked down 48-year-old S.N.K., suspected of organizing a criminal group. A significant batch of drugs was discovered during a search of his premises.
When asked about the origin of the drugs, the detainee claimed that he found them on the street, and when asked if he had any more, he replied:
“Erkekche, kudai turat — all that I have” [A man's word, God is my witness — all that I have].
However, a subsequent search confirmed that the Bishkek resident had additional drugs.
This case has been registered under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale. Currently, the investigation is ongoing to identify other participants in the criminal activity.
