The complainant stated that the suspect, while on Chokan Valikhanov Street, managed to gain his trust and rented a Kia K7 car for $16,000 for one month. Later, he also acquired two Hyundai Sonata cars, costing $12,000 and $12,500 respectively.
However, although the total rental amount was $40,000, the fraudster only paid $20,500 and then stopped communicating.
In connection with this fact, the investigative authorities of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktyabrsky District initiated a criminal case under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. During operational-search activities, law enforcement officers identified and detained the suspect — a 42-year-old citizen named O.A. He was taken to the investigative authorities and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
The police are appealing to all citizens who may have been affected by the actions of the detainee or who have any information regarding the case to contact the following phone numbers: 0701411511, 0700733935 or 102.
