In Bishkek, Altynai Arstanbekova has been detained, accused of publishing negative comments about the authorities through fake accounts. The information was provided by sources in law enforcement to the editorial office of Kaktus.media. According to law enforcement officials, after her arrest, she was taken to the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, where charges were brought against her. Shortly after that, the journalist was placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.

It is worth noting that for the past eight years, Arstanbekova has not been affiliated with any specific media outlet, referring to herself as an independent journalist.
