The incident occurred on March 5, when a resident of the capital contacted the police around seven in the evening. He stated that his bicycle worth 40,000 soms was stolen from his home in the 7th microdistrict.
The fact of the theft was registered under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek managed to detain two suspects: 15-year-old D.Zh. and 16-year-old B.Zh. One of the detainees, who is 19 years old, was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, more than ten similar thefts were identified.
