According to the press service of the Patrol Police Department, the patrol noticed a Toyota Camry that was driving erratically, creating a dangerous situation for other road users.
The inspectors attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the driver ignored the signal and tried to flee. As a result of a short chase, the police officers were able to stop the vehicle.
During the inspection, it was established that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. A report on the offense was drawn up against him, and the vehicle was towed to a impound lot.
The Patrol Police Department reminded that driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious violation of traffic rules and poses a danger to the life and health of people. The agency plans to continue conducting raids to identify such offenses.
