As a result of joint counter-terrorism efforts with foreign colleagues, a minor student was identified who was considering the possibility of attacking teachers and students at one of the educational institutions in the capital.
Based on these events, a criminal case has been initiated under the article "Threat of committing an act of terrorism" according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the GKNB noted that there has been an increase in cases of religious radicalization among youth recently. In this regard, the agency urged parents and teachers to pay attention to educational work with children and to monitor their interests and activities in the open information space.
