According to a recent survey conducted by the Madrid research company 40dB for the newspaper El Pais and the radio station Cadena SER, the overwhelming majority of residents of the European Union are opposed to military intervention by the United States and Israel in Iran's affairs.

The results showed that about 68% of respondents reject attempts to attack Iran. Additionally, 57% of respondents support Spain's decision not to provide military support to allies, and 53% believe it is correct to prohibit the use of American military bases for military operations in this conflict.

The survey covered countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. At the same time, 42% of participants approve of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's actions in managing the current crisis. Nearly 80% of citizens expressed their concern and careful monitoring of the events in the conflict.

Military actions began on February 28, when Israel and the U.S. launched a series of air and missile strikes on Iranian cities and military facilities. In response, Tehran attacked Israeli and American bases in several countries in the Middle East. In the first hours of the strike, high-ranking Iranian military officials were killed, and U.S. President Donald Trump announced the start of an operation called "Epic Fury."

As a result of the escalation of the conflict, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, along with about ten other high-ranking officials. Tensions in the region remain high.
