An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 occurred in the vicinity of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences.

According to the institute, the tremors were registered on March 7 at 17:50.

The epicenter of the seismic activity was located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 15 kilometers northeast of the village of Jumgal, 17 kilometers southwest of the village of Mantysh, 53 kilometers southwest of Kochkor, as well as 100 kilometers northwest of Naryn and 105 kilometers southeast of Bishkek.

The intensity of the sensations was about 3.5 in the villages of Jumgal, Kyzart, Lama, and Mantysh, while in the villages of Ortok, Kyzyl-Dobo, Ak-Chiy, and Chon-Dobo it was around 3.
